Route 52 and 54 detours via Surf Coast Hwy – Horseshoe Bend Rd closure 28/4/25 to 2/6/25

Following the Horseshoe Bend Rd/Burvilles Rd intersection, there will be a road closure in Horseshoe Bend Rd, between Boundary Rd and Precinct Drive.

Routes 52 and 54 will continue on Surf Coast Highway and divert via Reserve Rd to Wise St/Horseshoe Bend Rd to Precinct Drive during the above period.

The road is expected to open on 3/6/25 when the route would return to normal.

Please see the detour route shown below by the blue line.

The stops listed below will be inaccessible and are marked with an x on the map.

  • Surf Coast Hwy (Burvilles Rd) inbound
  • Ashbury Blvd/Burvilles Rd in both directions
  • Horseshoe Bend/Burvilles Rd in both directions
  • Verona Grove/Horseshoe Bend Rd in both directions
  • Nairn Drive/Boundary Rd in both directions
  • Walter St/Horseshoe Bend Rd in both directions
  • Worn Rd
