Detours and Service Changes Route 60 – Geelong Running Festival – Sunday 20th Sept 2026

Detours – and Moorabool St Bus Interchange not in service until 9:30am

To safely facilitate the inaugural Geelong Running Festival to be held on Sunday 20th September, 2026 there will be road closures in place around the city, with disruptions to some services.   Moorabool St Bus Interchange will not be serviced on all trips.

In addition, Portarlington Rd from Limeburners to Club Rd will be closed until 1:30pm.

Please see service changes to the first four outbound (Geelong departures) below.

8:12 am – THIS SERVICE WILL NOT DEPART GEELONG RAIL, AND WILL NOT SERVICE MOORABOOL ST.  THIS TRIP ONLY WILL COMMENCE FROM YARRA ST/RYRIE ST – STOP 30490 AT APPROXIMATELY 8:15AM.  This trip will detour via Sydney Parade, Ormond Rd, Bellarine Hwy, Melaluka Rd to Portarlington Rd and continue as normal.

9:41am, 11:00am and 12:23pm – These three trips will depart Geelong Rail, and will service Moorabool St, and detour via Sydney Parade, Ormond Rd, Bellarine Hwy, Melaluka Rd to Portarlington Rd and continue as normal.

Stops along Ryrie St/Portarlington Rd from the Hospital to after Melaluka Rd will not be serviced before 1:30pm.
