Routes 52/53/54 – ANZAC DAY Torquay diversion Friday 25th April 2025

To safely facilitate the annual Torquay ANZAC Day dawn service, there will be road closures on The Esplanade and Bell St from 4am until 8am.

During this time, The Esplanade from Price St, and Bell St will not be serviced, and buses will detour from The Esplanade and use Pride St.

Routes 53 and 54

Last stop outbound will be Pearl and Boston.    Buses will continue south on Pearl St, continue Pride St and perform a U-Turn at the Price St roundabout to continue back on Pride to Pearl St to commence inbound routes as shown by the blue line in the map below.

Route 52

Outbound will travel as normal to Pearl and Boston, continue south on Pearl St to Pride St, right at Price St, left onto Great Ocean Rd and continue to Jan Juc as normal as per the orange line.

Inbound will divert via Anderson St and continue as normal as shown by the green line.

We will do our best to keep services to time.

Services will return to normal following the re-opening of the roads after 8am.

The stops listed below will not be serviced before 8am on Friday 25/4 and are marked with an X on the map:

  • Price St (stop 30954 inbound and stop 30939 outbound)
  • Munday St stop 30953 inbound
  • Park Lane stop 30940 outbound.
  • Surf Beach Drive 28617 outbound
