V/Line – Lorne detours – Cadel Evans Surf Coast Classic events Wed 28 and Thurs 29 Jan 2026

Mountjoy Parade/Great Ocean Rd between Bay St and William St will be closed from 5am until 12pm.

During this time the bus will detour via Bay St, Smith St and William St, stopping at both Lorne Hotel stops and Main St stops.

There is also a road closure from 10:55am to 11:10am each day from William St to Deans Marsh-Lorne Rd.  Please note this may affect the 9:46am Apollo Bay departure only, which may get held up to let cyclists through.

Please note, there are also rolling closures through Bellbrae and Torquay, and there may be some delays.

Services outside of these times will run as scheduled.
