BUS TICKETS ON SALE 1ST OCTOBER 2024

McHarry’s Buslines will be operating return (to the venue and return) bus transport on a number of routes in the Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast areas for people attending  ‘A Day on the Green’ at the Mt. Duneed Estate.

Return bus tickets are available online only.  Bus collection stops are listed below.

End of Night Return One Way Buses

Tickets for this option can only be purchased on the night for $25pp (card or cash).

These end of night additional buses will provide transport to limited locations in:

  • Torquay
  • Ocean Grove
  • Barwon Heads

End of Night one way buses will depart from the area adjacent to where taxis pick up from.  This area is behind the stage at the bottom of the hill, approximately a 5 minute walk, from Entrance No. 1.  Staff will be on hand to take your payment for the one-way trip.

NO drinking or eating will be permitted on the bus.

McHarry’s Buslines reserves the right to depart as per the published scheduled times.

Bus bookings must be made by close of business on Tuesday 7th January 2025.

BOOKING PROCESS

  1. Click on the Button below.
  2. Click the Book now button at the top right hand corner of the page.
  3. Select your desired route and enter the desired number of tickets to purchase, then select your desired bus stop from the drop down menu.
  4. Complete the payment details.
  5. A Confirmation email with your ticket/s and QR code will be sent to your email address.

ON THE DAY

  1. Arrive at your designated pickup bus stop five minutes prior to have your QR code scanned and to receive a wristband.  This wristband will readily identify you to McHarry’s staff for easy access onto your bus for your return journey at the end of the event.
  2. Your return bus will depart from the same location from where you are dropped, at the top of the venue.
  3. Our aim is to leave 30 minutes after the event has finished.  We advise that you make your way to the buses as quickly as possible, at the end of the event.  Signage will direct you to the appropriate area/bus.
  4. Show your wristband as proof of your return ticket.

Frequently Asked Questions
    1. Can tickets be purchased from the driver on the day?
      No, tickets must be pre-purchased online. Bus drivers will not have the ability to sell return bus tickets on the day.
    2. Are return tickets available from the event?
      Yes, however, these tickets will be sold at the full return rate and the bus will only drop at limited locations.
    3. What happens if I lose my bus ticket?
      You must contact McHarry’s prior to the concert to verify your booking details and a new ticket can be emailed to you. You will not be permitted entry on the bus without a valid ticket.
    4. Are the pickup locations listed the only bus stops on each route?
      Yes, the stops are designed to be a central point for most suburbs in Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast Areas.  The stops are also convenient for most major accommodation areas in the area.
    5. Is this ticket also valid for my trip home from the concert?
      Yes, it is. At the end of the concert, you will be directed by staff to the appropriate bus which will drop you as close as possible to where you boarded the bus to get to the concert.
    6. What is the policy on refunds?  There will be no refunds if you have failed to meet the buses as per the scheduled timetable. Refunds will not be accepted after the event.  If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund less Try Bookings administration fee will be issued to all patrons.
    7. What are the expectations concerning behaviour on the bus? McHarry’s Buslines reserves the right to refuse entry onto our buses. Any persons who are noisy, intoxicated, threatening or behaving in an anti-social manner will not be allowed to board, or asked to leave the vehicle.
