SHEEPWASH ROAD CLOSURE

Route 55 and School Bus diversion from Monday 9/9/24 to Thursday 19/9/24

The next stage of the sewer upgrade in Barwon Heads will require the closure of Sheepwash Rd between Geelong Rd and Taits Rd during the above period.

During the road closure, buses will divert in a clockwise direction (as previous with the Geelong Rd detours), using Geelong Rd, left Carr St, left Taits Rd, right Sheepwash Rd, Right River Parade to continue back to Carr St.

Temporary stops will be located on Sheepwash Rd, just past the Taits Rd intersection, and on Geelong Rd, east of Sheepwash Rd as shown with the green buses on the map.

The following bus stops will not be serviced during the road closure and are marked with an X on the map below.

  • Sheepwash Rd/Saratoga
  • CFA Sheepwash Rd
  • Sheepwash Rd/Taits Rd
