Route 52 detours – Eton Road closure

Sunday 30th August 2026 from 8:30am to approximately 5pm

Due to emergency water repair works, Eton Rd at the intersection of Grossmans Rd will be closed in both directions on Sunday 30th August from around 8:30am to 5pm.

During this time, Route 52 will be required to detour, and will be unable to service Beach Rd.

Services will be required to use the Grossmans/Eton Rd roundabout to perform a U-turn and continue back to Surf Coast Highway for both inbound and outbound routes.

The following bus stops, marked with an x on the map below will be not in service during this time.  Customers are advised to use the Torquay Holiday Resort Stops on the Surf Coast Highway near Spring St.

  • Stop 28597 – Letham Lane – Beach Rd
  • Stop 28598 – Letham Lane – Beach Rd
