New Year’s Eve 2025 additional services 

Following the success of last years trial, additional services will operate in the Geelong Region on Wednesday, 31 December 2025 to help transport you to

the Geelong New Years Eve fireworks displays held at Eastern Beach.

  1. Family Fireworks – Time:  9:30pm (duration 7 minutes)
  2. Midnight Fireworks  – Time: 12:00am (New Years Day) (duration 7 minutes)

Our regular services will run as normal, and we’ll also be offering a limited number of extra services on select routes: 30, 31, 42, 53, 55, 60.

**All services departing Geelong after 9:55pm will not service Moorabool St, and will depart from Geelong Rail Station.

Limited additional trips will be running on the services below.

Route 30 – Geelong to Whittington – NYE from 5pm

Route 31 – Geelong to St Albans Park – NYE from 5pm

Route 42 – Geelong to Deakin via South Valley Rd – NYE from 5pm

Route 53 – Geelong to Torquay Bell St – NYE from 5pm

Route 55 – Geelong to Ocean Grove via Barwon Heads – NYE from 5pm

Route 60 – Geelong to St Leonards via Drysdale, Portarlington – NYE from 5pm

Customers please note

  • Hail the bus at any PTV Stop the bus services along the route.

    NYE Services will service PTV flagged bus stops en route.

  • All outbound buses from Geelong from 9:55pm onwards will depart from Geelong Rail and will not service Moorabool St

    From 9:55pm the outbound bus stop in Moorabool will not be serviced.

  • All the services listed above are free of charge.

    No myki is required.

  • From time to time, bus schedules may change or be delayed without notice due to unforeseen circumstance
