Heyers Rd and Rossack Drive roadworks

Effective Wednesday 14th November for approximately 5 weeks. 

Due to planned road reconstruction, staged road works will take place around Rossack Drive and Heyers Rd commencing November 2024 and will be completed March 2025.

Stage 1 works which encompass road closure of Heyers Rd to 123 Rossack Drive Southbound lane will commence on 14th November, and are expected to be completed by Christmas.

Please find detours for Stage 1 works below:

Route 41

• Will travel as normal to Geelong.
• Outbound to Deakin, will travel via right Monterey Dr, left Ghazeepore Rd, left Sugargum Dr, then U-turn at the Rossack Dr roundabout to the stops at the Station and will continue as normal as per the green line in the map below.

Route 42

• Will travel as normal to Geelong.
• Outbound to Deakin, will travel via right Rossack Dr, left Monterey Dr, left Ghazeepore Rd, left Sugargum Dr, then U-turn at the Rossack Dr roundabout to the stops at the station, and continue as normal as shown by the pink line.

Route 45

• Will travel as normal to Waurn Ponds.
• To Warralily will travel via right Monterey Dr, left Ghazeepore Rd, left Sugargum Dr, to perform a U-turn at the Rossack Dr roundabout to the stops at the station, and continue as normal shown by the black line.

Affected School buses will be a case by case process.

There will be a temporary stop located outside 42 Monterey Drive.
