GHAZEEPORE RD CLOSURE
Commencing Monday 27th April until approximately Thursday 19th June 2026
Due to roadworks Ghazeepore Rd will be closed from Colac Rd/Princes Hwy to Sugargum Drive. Buses will detour via Rossack Drive during this time.
N24 – Waurn Ponds to Belmont High and St Josephs – detour both am and pm and will operate along Rossack Drive (all stops), and Bodega St and Sugargum Drive servicing Waurn Ponds Station bus stops only (U-turn at Oakwood Cres).
W2 – Waurn Ponds to Geelong College, Sacred Heart, Clonard and Westcourt – detour both am and pm will operate along Rossack Drive (all stops), and Bodega St and Sugargum Drive servicing Waurn Ponds Station bus stops only (U-turn at Oakwood Cres).
Route 42 Geelong to Deakin via South Valley Rd – blue line in the map below:
Outbound to Deakin: Will travel as normal to Waurn Ponds Station, then perform a U-turn at Oakwood Cres roundabout, then via left Rossack Drive, stopping at all stops in Rossack Drive, before turning left Colac Rd/Princes Hwy, right Pigdons Rd to Deakin University.
Inbound to Geelong will travel from Deakin via Pigdons Rd, and divert Left Princes Hwy/Colac Rd, Right Rossack Drive, and continue on Rossack Drive, stopping at all stops in Rossack Drive, right Bodega St to Waurn Ponds Station bus stops, and perform a U-turn at Oakwood Cres Roundabout, to return on Sugargum Drive, left Rossack, right Heyers and continue the rest of the route as normal through to Geelong.
Route 41 – Geelong to Deakin via Grovedale – orange line in map below:
Outbound to Deakin: Will travel as normal to Waurn Ponds Station, then perform a U-turn at the Oakwood Cres roundabout, Left Rossack Drive, Left Colac Rd/Princes Hwy, Right Pigdons Rd to Deakin University.
Inbound to Geelong will travel via Pigdons Rd, and divert Left Princes Hwy/Colac Rd, Right Rossack Drive, and continue on Rossack Drive, right Bodega St to Waurn Ponds Station bus stops, and perform a U-Turn at Oakwood Cres Roundabout, to return on Sugargum Drive, Left Rossack Drive, right on Princes Hwy/Colac Rd and continue as normal to Geelong.
