Torquay detours Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th Jan – From 1:00pm to 3pm

The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Races will be held over 5 days in 2026 from Wednesday 28th January to Sunday 1st February 2026.

Please note that delays/block and hold treatments leading to delays of up to 20 minutes may be experienced due to rolling road closures.

Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th January 2026

To safely facilitate the Womens and Mens midweek events, Anderson St, and sections of The Esplanade will be closed from 1:00pm to 3pm on the above dates and Routes 52, 53, 54 will detour via Price and Pride St to Pearl and Boston during this time for both inbound and outbound trips as shown by the blue line in the map.

The bus stops at The Esplanade/Price St will not be serviced during this time.
