Bristol Rd closure – Commencing Monday 20th April for approximately 3 weeks.

Route 52 detours

Due to roadworks and safety upgrades at the intersection of Bristol Rd and Surf Coast Highway, Bristol Rd will be closed from the 20th April, 2026 for approximately three weeks.

During this time, Route 52 will detour via Boston Rd.

Inbound Route 52 will detour via Boston Rd, Left Surf Coast Hwy and continue to Bell St/Great Ocean Rd roundabout where it will perform a U-turn to continue back onto Surf Coast Highway heading north as shown by the green line in the map below.

Outbound buses will detour right Boston Rd to Pearl and Boston and continue as normal, as shown by the orange line.

The bus stops below, marked with an X will not be accessible during the closure, and will not be serviced.  The closest stops are marked by a green bus.

Outbound:

  • Bristol Rd (Surf Coast Hwy) stop 41395.  To use instead, Torquay Holiday Resort stop 30935.
  • Payne St (Bristol Rd) stop 30937.  To use instead, Pearl and Boston Interchage stop 30938

Inbound:

  • Bristol Rd (Surf Coast Hwy) stop 30957.  To use instead, Torquay Holiday Resort stop 30958.
  • Payne St (Bristol Rd) stop 30956.  To use instead,  Pearl and Boston Torquay Interchange stop 30955.
