Route 61 detours – Whitcombes Rd/Bayshore Ave/Clifton Springs Rd closure

Sunday 30th August 2026 from 8am to approximately 4pm

Due to roadworks, the intersection at Whitcombes Rd/Bayshore Ave/Clifton Springs Rd will be closed from approximately 8am until around 4pm on Sunday 30th August, 2026.

During this time, the Route 61 will detour via Country Club Drive and Bullimah both inbound and outbound.

The following bus stops, marked with an x on the map below will be not in service during this time.

  • Stop 31112 – Clifton Springs Rd
  • Stop 50623 – Clifton Springs Rd
  • Stop 31137 – Tarkarri Ave
  • Stop 31126 – Tarkarri Ave

Customers are asked to use alternative bus stops at Connie St/Beacon Point Rd, and Bunganowee Drive/Bay Shore Ave.
