Route 40 detour and temp bus stop on Surf Coast Highway for night works
From 6:30pm to 5:30am on the following dates:
Night works will be taking place at the Heyers Rd and Surf Coast Highway intersection.
The intersection will be closed at Surf Coast Highway, and Route 40 will be required to detour for the night works, from 6:30pm until 5:30am on the following dates:
Sunday 31/5 to Thursday 4/6, and Tuesday 9/6 to Thursday 11/6
Route 40 will be required to detour via Surf Coast Highway, Pioneer Rd and Burdoo Rd. In doing so, bus sops along Heyers Rd, and the Heyers Rd stop in Burdoo Rd will not be accessed.
A temporary stop will be located at 275 Torquay Rd, and Route 40 customers can use this stop at night whilst the detour is on.
Route 40 – Stops are only closed during the works 6:30pm – 5:30am only, as the bus is detouring from Heyers Rd, and cannot access these stops. The bus will still service these stops outside of the works hours.
