ALFRED DEAKIN DRIVE CLOSURE – DEAKIN UNIVERSITY WAURN PONDS MAIN STOP CLOSURE

From Monday 25th May until around 3rd July, 2026

Due to road works, Alfred Deakin Drive will be closed from the first roundabout (Nicol Drive) onwards from Monday 25th May until 3rd July, 2026.

The main bus stop will be inaccessible during these works, and temporary bus stops will be installed.

Temporary bus stops will be located in Lake Drive, near the Baseball Club.  There is a pathway to the University here, and a shelter and additional lighting will be installed.

Lake Drive will become one way traffic to buses only during the works.

Customers will be dropped at Position 1, and Picked up from Position 2 on the map below.
