Beach Rd and Fischer St Torquay closure

Routes 53 and 54 inbound services to detour

27/7/26 to 4/9/26

Due to roadworks at Beach Rd/Fischer St intersection, Fischer St will be closed between Zeally Bay Rd to Cowrie Rd to northbound traffic.

Inbound services to Geelong will detour via Right Zeally Bay Rd, Left The Esplanade, Left Cowrie Rd and right back to Fischer St as per the blue line in the map below.

Please note that the bus stops at Beach Rd/Fischer St on both sides of Fischer St (highlighted with an X) will not be accessible during the works.  Temporary stops will be installed just past Cowrie Rd.
