Route 45 detours – Ghazeepore Rd closure and detours

Commencing 6 January 2026 until mid Feb 2026

Detours via Heyers Rd, Surf Coast Hwy and Baanip Blvd

Due to roadworks, Ghazeepore Rd will be closed between Baanip Blvd and Sugargum Drive Waurn Ponds commencing 6th Jan, and lasting until mid Feb 2026.

During this time, Route 45 will detour via Baanip Boulevard, Surf Coast Hwy, Heyers Rd, and use the roundabout at Oakwood Crescent to perform a U-turn after servicing the Waurn Ponds Station bus stops.
