McHarry’s Buslines will be operating return bus transport on a number of routes in the Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast areas for people attending ‘A Day on the Green’ at Mt Duneed Estate. Return bus tickets must be pre booked and are available online only. During the ticket booking process you will be asked to select your preferred bus pickup location out of the supplied list.

Once a return bus ticket has been bought it can be exchanged on the day of the event by your bus driver for a wristband which must be worn to gain access for the return journey on the bus. McHarry’s Buslines reserves the right to depart as per the published scheduled times.

We aim to leave the venue 30 minutes after the event has finished and we advise you to make your way to the buses as soon as you can – buses will depart from where they dropped you off. There will be signage at the venue to direct you to the appropriate area and appropriate bus.

One-way transfers are possible but unfortunately must be charged at full rate. There will be an opportunity to buy return bus tickets ($20pp) at the end of the night; however these buses will only drop at limited stops to the following areas- Geelong Central, Torquay, Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads.

All one way transfers will be operating from the bottom of Mt. Duneed next to the taxi and uber ranks.

** Express Service**

McHarry’s will also be operating a PARK & RIDE service which will run from Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre direct to Mt Duneed Estate.  Collecting and dropping off at the Pioneer Rd PTV stop.  This service will run every half hour beginning at 3:30pm, last service departing at 5:00pm.  Return services will start at approx. 10:00pm until 11:00pm and will operate from the bottom of the Mt Duneed venue, near the taxi rank.  Bus tickets must be pre booked and are available online only.  During the ticket booking process you will be asked to select your preferred pickup time out of the supplied list.

No drinking or eating will be permitted on the bus.

Frequently Asked Questions
  1. Can tickets be purchased from the driver on the day?
    No, tickets must be pre-purchased online. Bus drivers will not have the ability to sell return bus tickets on the day.
  2. Are return tickets available from the event?
    Yes, however, these tickets will be sold at the full return rate and the bus will only drop at one location in Central Geelong.
  3. What happens if I lose my bus ticket?
    You must contact McHarry’s prior to the concert to verify your booking details and a new ticket can be emailed to you. You will not be permitted entry on the bus without a valid ticket.
  4. Are the pickup locations listed the only bus stops on each route?
    Yes, the stops are designed to be a central point for most suburbs in Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast Areas.  The stops are also convenient for most major accommodation areas in the area.
  5. Is this ticket also valid for my trip home from the concert?
    Yes, it is. At the end of the concert, you will be directed by staff to the appropriate bus which will drop you as close as possible to where you boarded the bus to get to the concert.
  6. What is the policy on refunds? There will be no refunds if you have failed to meet the buses as per the scheduled timetable. Refunds will not be accepted after the event. If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund less Try Bookings administration fee will be issued to all patrons.
  7. What are the expectations concerning behaviour on the bus? McHarry’s Buslines reserves the right to refuse entry onto our buses. Any persons who are noisy, intoxicated, threatening or behaving in an anti-social manner will not be allowed to board, or asked to leave the vehicle.
