Thursday 25th April, 2019
Park and Ride Shuttle service from Spring Creek Reserve to Dawn Service
A free Park and Ride facility will again be provided at this year’s ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Torquay. This service is provided by the Victorian Government, in association with Surf Coast Shire and McHarry’s Buslines.
The aim of the Park and Ride facility is to relieve parking congestion around the streets of Torquay and provide a safe and convenient way for people to attend the service.
5am to 6am: Bus service will operate from Spring Creek Reserve to the Dawn service at Point Danger.
From 7am (or as soon as ceremony concludes): return services to Spring Creek Reserve from the drop off point at Point Danger
This service will be free of charge to anyone who parks in Spring Creek Reserve, so why not use the bus and get dropped at the door without the parking hassles.
