A Day on The Green – Red Hot Chili Peppers

McHarry’s Buslines will be operating return bus transport on a number of routes in the Geelong area, Bellarine and on the Surf Coast for people attending A Day on the Green at Mt Duneed Estate. Return bus tickets must be pre booked and are available online only. During the ticket booking process you will be asked your preferred bus pickup location out of the supplied list.

Once a return bus ticket has been bought it can be exchanged on the day of the event by your bus driver for a wristband which must be worn to gain access for the return journey on the bus. McHarry’s Buslines reserves the right to depart as per the published scheduled times.

We aim to leave the venue 30 minutes after the event has finished and we advise you to make your way to the buses as soon as you can – buses will depart from where they dropped you off. There will be signage at the venue to direct you to the appropriate area and appropriate bus.

One-way transfers are possible but unfortunately must be charged at full rate. There will be an opportunity to buy return bus tickets ($20pp) at the end of the night; however this bus will only drop at limited stops on route to Central Geelong. No drinking or eating will be permitted on the bus.

Frequently Asked Questions
  1. Can tickets be purchased from the driver on the day?
    No, tickets must be pre purchased online. Bus drivers will not have the ability to sell return bus tickets on the day.
  2. Are return tickets available from the event?
    Yes, however these tickets will be sold at the full return rate and the bus will only drop at one location in Central Geelong.
  3. What happens if I lose my bus ticket?
    You must contact McHarry’s prior to the concert to verify your booking details and a new ticket can be emailed to you. You will not be permitted entry on the bus without a valid ticket.
  4. Are the pickup locations listed the only bus stops on each route?
    Yes, the stops are designed to be a central point for most suburbs in Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast Areas.  The stops are also convenient for most major accommodation areas in the area. Any large group (over 20) requesting an alternative pick up location are encouraged to contact McHarry’s Buslines.
  5. Is this ticket also valid for my trip home from the concert?
    Yes it is. At the end of the concert you will be directed by staff to the appropriate bus which will drop you as close as possible to where you boarded the bus to get to the concert.
